A solid-state drive is much faster than any conventional hard disk. This is because an HDD employs rotating disks, that can rotate only so fast and the more information is read and written, the slower and warmer they become, whereas an SDD takes advantage of modules of flash memory, so there are no physically moving components. The access speeds for an SSD are much higher, which makes this type of drives the best solution when speed is needed. This is the reason why SSDs are often used for the Operating System on a computer system and for storing data that is used frequently on web servers. Many service providers also use a combination of both drives, so they keep the data on hard-disks, but they use several solid-state drives in order to cache the more frequently used data and because of this, the data loads quicker while the load on the HDDs is lowered because their disks have to spin less frequently to read and write.

Multiple drives are used by our system for each file which is accessed more frequently and the data on these drives is dynamically refreshed to ensure that all of the traffic-intensive files load from them. This way, the load on the main drives is lowered, so we can ensure exceptional performance for all kinds of Internet sites regardless of how often they are accessed and prevent a situation where some Internet sites are affected by an excessive number of reading and writing processes created by others. This setup also increases the lifespan of the primary drives and reduces the chance of disk failure.
